Centre for International Cooperation and Development

The CMSR is an independent non-profit research and advisory organisation in the field of international economic relations. The Republic of Slovenia and the SID Banka (the Slovenian Development Bank) established the CMSR as a private institute, managed by the Centre's Council and a director.

The CMSR conducts fundamental and applied research, advisory, informative, documentational, promotional, educational, publishing and intermediary activities in fields that are important to international development cooperation.

The CMSR is implementing a part of bilateral official development assistance of the Republic of Slovenia in accordance with the International Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Assistance of the Republic of Slovenia Act, adopted in 2018.

The CMSR provides a variety of services and information for Slovene companies, required for identifying the most prospective markets and for developing strategies and operational programmes when entering emerging markets.

The CMSR also provides analyses and information on Slovenia and its market to interested foreign clients.
