Slovenia and Serbia: How to Enter Third Markets Together?
18. 7. 2025
On July 17, 2025, Dejan Prešiček, Director of the Center for International Cooperation and Development, participated in the Slovenian-Serbian Business Forum, where—together with partners from SPIRIT Slovenia: Public Agency, the Ministry of Economy, Tourism and Sport of the Republic of Slovenia, and the Serbian Chamber of Commerce—they discussed opportunities for joint presence in third markets.
The event, with over 100 participants from companies, institutions, and support environments, provided an exceptional platform for in-depth discussions on strategic cooperation between Slovenia and Serbia.
The discussions addressed:
+ specific needs of the economy,
+ successful examples of cooperation and partnerships,
+ concrete support mechanisms for companies,
+ challenges of operating in foreign markets,
+ opportunities for joint projects in Africa, Asia, and Latin America…
The forum represents an important step toward establishing a functional cooperation model for joint entry into developing markets—which is key for effective and sustainable international development cooperation.
